Every academic year provides a lot of joy and satisfaction to the University Community, as we have additional hallmarks and innovative paradigms to our credit. The inspection and approval by the UGC and other national regulatory bodies cheered us in the very first year of our existence. In the second year, we received permission of the Distance Education Council and its Joint Committee to launch various Programmes of study through distance mode. In the beginning of the third year, we had our first Convocation to confer degrees and diplomas to our graduates. On 16 October 2010, we had our Second Convocation to confer Degree and siplomas on 860 students, including seven Ph.D Scholars. With 6500 students and about 400 faculty members, the phenomenal increase is evidenced in our academic capital. Nearly 300 students are enrolled for M.Phil and Ph.D. programmes. A couple of hostels have also been added to the existing fleet. Now more than 2000 students are availing hostel facility. The University has libraries in all the three campuses. Facilities for sports and cultural activities are being organized with for more fevour and enthusiasm. We are engaged in making Jaipur National University, and academic dreamland, a superior abode of learning and knowledge, for our young men and women, who aspire for quality education. The students, who join us, will have a great sense of realization and satisfaction at the University. We fondly welcome you to this brand University.
